Experience
Caspar Conde practises in commercial and public law, including appeals and inquiries. He regularly appears in the Federal Court of Australia and in the Supreme Court of New South Wales. He has appeared in various other courts and tribunals in Australia. He is admitted in New South Wales and the Singapore International Commercial Court.
Caspar has acted for commercial entities, private individuals, and government bodies such as the Australian Attorney-General’s Department, the Australian Federal Police, the Australian Securities and Investments Commission, the Australian Taxation Office and the NSW Department of Industry.
Caspar’s commercial experience includes contractual disputes, insurance, corporate law (including schemes of arrangement), competition law and class actions. His public law experience includes inquiries, regulatory litigation, merits and judicial review, constitutional law and proceeds of crime litigation.
He has been recognised in:
- the Australian Bar Legal 500 for Commercial Disputes; and
- Best Lawyers for Class Action Litigation and Litigation.
In 2021-2022, Caspar was one of the Counsel Assisting the Review of The Star Pty Ltd by Adam Bell SC.
Before coming to the Bar, Caspar was an Associate to the Hon. Justice Ian Callinan AC at the High Court of Australia and a Senior Associate at Allens.
