Experience

Mr Sharp accepts briefs in all areas of private and public law, and primarily in the following Chambers’ practice areas: Commercial Law, Common Law, Criminal, Equity, Industrial/Employment, Inquests and Inquiries and Public and Administrative Law.

Prior to being called to the Bar in 2015, Mr Sharp was a corporate associate at Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP.

Between 2004 and 2006, Mr Sharp was an associate to the Honourable Ian Callinan AC of the High Court of Australia.

Mr Sharp graduated as a Bachelor of Civil Law from the University of Oxford and as a Bachelor of Arts/Law from the Queensland University of Technology.  Mr Sharp also holds a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Australian National University.
